feels like leather - this is a great basketball. surface has the soft feel of a leather ball. i purchased the spalding price-equivalent a while back and this ball is way, way better.

Excellent equipment - Bought two of these for my sons who are avid basketball players. Only a minor adjustment to inflation upon receiving them. These are strictly for indoor wood court play. Pretty hard to go wrong with Wilson sporting equipment. I ve always preferred them over Spalding.
Wilson Evolution - It s a nice basketball. It has a good feel and a soft bounce. It feels a little on the light side, and being made of microfiber doesn t quite have the texture of the real leather balls. The Wilson Evolution isn t the best ball out there, but it is a great value. I used this ball when I was on the basketball team in high school, and I really liked how the ball played. The TF-1000 is probably a better ball objectively, but I liked the Evolution so I stuck with that instead.
